Fawley circular walk 1
Distance: 1.5km /1 mile, 20 minutes
Condition: Good, mostly pavements/tarmac, unsurfaced paths may become muddy after heavy rain
Starting Point: Church lane, Fawley
All Saints Church Fawley, the oldest building in the area built in the 12th century and extended over the centuries, but has records of church activity in the Parish dating back to 971AD. In ‘The Square’ at Fawley there are buildings dating back to 1793, and Jubilee Hall was built in 1887 by public subscription to mark Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee.

The route
- Start at the footpath in church lane. Follow the footpath to the church and proceed into the church yard, turn right and continue along path.
- After passing through the kissing gate turn left. Follow the path bearing left at fork until reaching the road, turn right.
- Take the first left along Copthorne Lane and follow the road around until you reach the junction of Ashlett Road, turn right and follow road back to the starting point through the village centre.
