Mr Scott John Beazley, trading as Wheeltrims UK (Ltd)
On the 3rd May Mr Scott John Beazley was sentenced at Portsmouth Crown Court in relation to 14 offences in connection to the sale of counterfeit wheeltrims being sold on eBay; contrary to Section 92 of the Trade Marks Act 1994.
He was conditionally discharged for 2 years but was ordered to pay £8000 towards the cost of the prosecution within 6 months. Furthermore, he was made subject to a confiscation order under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 which requires him to pay £51660.55 within 6 months or face 18 months imprisonment in default.
