Traffic Management Policy
The Authority has developed a series of policy and advice notes which complement Government policy and advice. These documents are currently under review, but a link will be added here at a later date.
Most traffic management policy stems from documents produced by the Department for Transport and the Highways Agency. Some of these are statutory (Acts and Regulations), whilst others are for guidance.
The principal Acts are:-
