Below are clips from our large collection of films made by Colonel Arthur Bates of Manydown Park in North Hampshire between 1929-1936.
All of the films were shot outdoors to take advantage of natural light using a 16mm camera and featured not just members of his family, but also a fascinating glimpse of local life.
