The MCA Project team support the work of the Hampshire Multi-agency MCA Steering Group by providing learning and development support, resources and opportunities across the public, private and voluntary sectors.
We work with any health and social care organisation in Hampshire helping them meet their workforce development needs, arising from the MCA (2005) legislation and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (2007).
We can help if you need to find specialist advice on MCA/DoLS, need to plan learning and development for your organisation or want to access some training for yourself.

For Adult Services staff working within a social care role

Staff working in the public sector, including Hampshire Police, Hampshire Fire and Rescue, Borough/City Councils within Hampshire or Hampshire County Council staff from departments other than Adult Services

Staff employed in a health role within NHS including Hampshire PCT, SaBT, Acute Hospitals, HCHC, Hampshire Ambulance Service, HPT, CMHT

The PaCT website has information on the MCA and DoLS courses they provide for staff in a care role within this sector, which includes private care homes and registered charities
