Safeguarding adults means making sure that vulnerable adults are protected from abuse.
Everyone who works in a health and social care environment has a shared responsibility to ensure that all vulnerable adults are safeguarded. The specific level of responsibility and involvement you have within the safeguarding process will be determined by the role you hold.
All training underpins the strategic direction and priorities of the Hampshire Adult Safeguarding Board and reflects a strong multi agency approach. Course content is supported and influenced by the work of the service user forum, service user committee and learning from serious and critical case reviews and national and local trends.
