About Cabinet
Meeting dates and documents for Cabinet.
Under the County Council's Constitution, the Council manages its affairs by way of a Leader with Cabinet model. The Leader is appointed by the County Council and he/she will appoint the Cabinet.
Each Executive Member on the Cabinet has their own portfolio and they are responsible and publicly accountable for decisions made on the council services that are within their portfolio.
Cabinet members work closely with the corporate directors and professional officers of the council to ensure the successful implementation of the decisions they make.
