About Transport for South Hampshire

Transport for South Hampshire is a joint committee bringing together Hampshire County Council and Portsmouth and Southampton City Councils.
The vision for South Hampshire is to achieve economic growth whilst maintaining a high qulity of life for all in a way that is sustainable providing economic prosperity without harm to the environment.
The joint committee is empowered to let contracts; collect and disburse funding; commission research; influence, advise and lobby government and develop and deliver transport schemes in line with its approved business plan.
