Activity Resource 2: Observing a lesson

Either:

1. ask a colleague to observe one of your lessons;

Or

2. ask a music colleague if you can watch one of their lessons.

Use the proforma  35kb to gather information about the planned learning and the structure of the lesson.

Afterwards, reflect on the findings. As a consequence, you might:

• review the planning process for one for your own lessons, trying out some new ideas;
• consider the factors affecting lesson design by reading more;
• continue with this unit by developing your practice in lesson planning.
