About Odiham Bridewell
The Bridewell in Odiham is a newly refurbished centre at the heart of the community.It offers local people a welcoming one-stop destination for library services, community facilities, displays and events.
The library area is fully accessible with books, videos, DVDs and CDs. You can meet friends, sit and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee or free access to the internet.
A Local Information point is provided by the County Council's Information Centres in partnership with community volunteers. You will also find the police offices and a contact point for the Odiham and North Warnborough Neighbourhood Watch scheme.
Upstairs, a meeting room provides a convenient and welcoming location for community groups, talks and events, and can also be used for art exhibits or local history collections. Another office space provides accommodation for smaller meetings of 2-3 people, with a computer available to groups hiring the room.
The Bridewell is a partnership between Hampshire County Council Recreation and Heritage and Information Centres, the Town Centre Management Group, Hampshire Constabulary, Odiham Parish Council, Odiham Society, Hart District Council.
The Partners
Hampshire County Council is setting up a new kind of partnership in the Bridewell, working with community groups and volunteers to bring better access to information and services to the residents and visitors to Odiham, North Warnborough and surrounding areas.
Partners currently include Libraries, Local Information Point, Police, Odiham Parish Council, The Odiham Society, Odiham Town Centre management. These groups will be working on a rota basis to provide front-line point of contact for their services.

Local Information Point
Local Information Points provide access to information about services provided by Hampshire County Council and other public bodies in Hampshire. The Bridewell Information Point can be found in the "meet and greet" room on the right as enter and is staffed by community volunteers or freefone 0800 028 0888.
There is free internet access. A wide variety of leaflets are available... there's also a place to sit and read over a cup of tea or coffee.
Odiham Parish Council
The Parish Council represents the interests of residents in the provision of key local services. In particular Planning and Development, Traffic and Transport issues, Amenity areas and issues regarding events and the comunity. The Clerk to the Parish Council will be in the Bridewell every Tuesday from 9.30am - 1pm.

Town Centre Management
The Odiham Town Centre Manager Group consists of a good mix of local residents, retailers, local businesses and local authorities. If you want to be involved please contact us. Its objective is to ensure a sustainable and vibrant retail and commercial community in the Parish of Odiham for the benefit of residents and local businesses. Odiham police
Odiham police station is the beat office of Pc Hans Taylor and contact point for the Odiham and North Warnborough Neighbourhood watch scheme which is run by Dr. Gordon Wrenn. The office is normally open between 4pm and 5pm from Monday to Friday for general enquiries and advice. Most functions can be carried out here apart from the detention of offenders which is done at Aldershot ! There is 24 hour Police cover for this and surrounding villages, when Pc Taylor is not on duty. Aside from the official opening times you are welcome to call at the office whenever the car is outside!
Odiham Society
The Odiham Society's primary objectives are to protect and enhance the heritage, character and environment of the Parish of Odiham, including North Warnborough, and to explore its history and development. The Society represents the interests of members and the wider community in local planning and other issues, while seeking to stimulate public interest and participation in its work through publications, talks, visits, events, exhibitions and historical research.
