What is the Hart Shopper?

The Hart Shopper is a minibus service operating in:

You can get picked up from your home address and travel to:

• Camberley/ The Meadows on alternate Fridays.

Who can use the service?

Anyone whose travel needs are not met by public bus services can use the Hart Shopper. This could be because:

• you live or your destination is more than 400 metres from an available bus service

• you are a disabled person

• you have some other mobility or sensory restriction that makes it difficult or impossible to use an existing bus service

• you do not have access to a car and there is no bus service running in your area

• you are a carer or accompanying someone who is disabled or who has some other mobility restriction that makes it difficult or impossible to use an available existing bus service.

Whatever the reason, the Hart Shopper has been created to give you the opportunities to travel.

Passengers will be picked up and dropped off at their home address.

What does it cost?

A return trip costs £5 (£2.50 with a concessionary bus pass)

When can I travel?

You can travel to Camberley/The Meadows on alternate Fridays.

All trips arrive at their destination at 10am and depart at 12noon.

Booking ahead period

Bookings can be made in advance and by midday on the Thursday before you want to travel.

About the buses

The minibuses used on Hart Shopper are specially adapted with handrails and low steps to help passengers.

Each vehicle is equipped with a lift or ramp to assist wheelchair and walking frame users, and people carrying children in their buggies.
