The day included a full programme of training and briefing sessions as well as an outdoor vehicle exhibition, for those considering purchasing a minibus, and an indoor exhibition including insurance and wheelchair restraint equipment suppliers.

Many people also came solely to look at the exhibition which was free of charge. Good feedback was received about the exhibitions which consisted of 18 indoor exhibitors and 17 outdoor exhibitors

MiDAS driver of the Year 2014
Former Formula 1 racing World Champion Jody Scheckter, who set up home in Hampshire and now runs Laverstoke Park Farm at Overton, helped to present awards for the Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (MiDAS) Driver of the Year 2014 competition.
Andy Gilbertson from Liss Junior School claimed the winners prize and was joined in the final by Tim Hendon from Community Action Fareham and Robin Kelley from One Community.
