What are the Hart Call and Go Taxishares?

It is a transport services for residents of:

Crondall, Ewshot, Dogmersfield, Winchfield, Fleet, Church Crookham, Pondtail, Hartley Wintney, Mattingley, Hook, North Warnborough, Odiham, Well, Mapledurwell, Upton Grey, South Warnborough, Greywell or Long Sutton

It is similar to the Call and Go service only a taxi picks passengers up instead of a minibus.

 

Where can I travel to?

You can travel to Alton on the first Tuesday of each month if you live in the following areas;

Crondall, Ewshot, Dogmersfield, Winchfield, Fleet, Church Crookham, Pondtail, Hartley Wintney, Mattingley, Hook, North Warnborough, Odiham, Well, Mapledurwell, Upton Grey, South Warnborough, Greywell or Long Sutton.

You can travel to Basingstoke on a Wednesday or Fleet on a Friday if you live in the following areas; Long Sutton, Well, Upton Grey or South Warnborough

 

Can anyone use these taxishare?

Anyone living in the areas below who fit the following criteria can use the taxishare:

Crondall, Ewshot, Dogmersfield, Winchfield, Fleet, Church Crookham, Pondtail, Hartley Wintney, Mattingley, Hook, North Warnborough, Odiham, Well, Mapledurwell, Upton Grey, South Warnborough, Greywell or Long Sutton.

Criteria

> You do not have access to a car or

> There is not a bus service that runs when you would like to travel or

> You live more than 400m from your nearest bus stop or

> You find it difficult to use a conventional bus service due to a sensory or mobility impairment or

> You are accompanying someone who fits any of the above criteria

 

When can I travel?

If you live in the area you can travel to:

  • Alton on the first Tuesday of each month

You can travel to Basingstoke on a Wednesday or Fleet on a Friday if you live in the following areas:

  • Long Sutton

  • Well

  • Upton Grey

  • South Warnborough

There is one journey into the town centres and one journey back.

 

What does it cost?

On services 200A/B/F journeys cost £3 single or £5 return.

If you have a Hampshire County Council disabled person's bus pass you can travel for half price on this service.  If you have a Hampshire County Council older person's bus pass you can travel for half price on any journey departing from your stop after 09:00.  If you have a pass issued by any other English Local Authority you can travel for half price on any journey departing from your stop after 09:30.  In all cases show your pass to the Taxishare/Carshare driver each time you travel otherwise you will need to pay the full fare.

 

How do I book?

Before you can use the taxishares you need to register with Hampshire County Council by calling the number below.

You will then be sent membership information with the booking number to ring when you would like to travel.

To use the service you must book you must book your seat. Please do this by 4pm the day before you wish to travel.
