Launch of the Volunteer Driver Recruitment Campaign
Wednesday 19 September 2012 saw the launch of the Volunteer Driver Recruitment Campaign. This successful event was attended by all of the Hampshire Volunteer Centres, Hampshire Community Transport Schemes and many of the delegates who were also attending the Minibus Event on the same day. The launch was an opportunity to introduce the new publicity and why the recruitment drive is important to the Community Transport sector.
Councillor Still, Janet Blann of Test Valley Community Services and Mary Mitchell of the Good Neighbours Support Service along with Anne Court, a volunteer driver from Basingstoke Kempshott Neighbourcare all spoke about what the campaign means to their organisations and the difference new volunteer drivers would make to the groups.
