Train Services
The County Council is actively involved in improving and promoting rail services in Hampshire by:
- lobbying and negotiating with the rail industry to maintain and improve train services;
- obtaining funding from government and others for improving rail infrastructure and train services;
- funding facilities at rail stations from its own budgets; and
- encouraging rail use by providing public transport information.
