Changes during March
From 17 March:-
First will be introducing the following changes from 17 March 2013 to their East Hampshire network.
Service Zero 0 Hilsea/Tipner - North End - Fratton - Southsea - Eastney - Copnor - Tipner/Hilsea
Service extended to serve Cosham QA Hospital, via Cosham Health Centre.
Service renumbered: service 17 operates from Tipner to North End, Copnor, Eastney and Southsea and 18 operates from QA Hospital to North End, Fratton and Southsea.
Service 1 Gunwharf - City Centre - Eastney - Southsea - Old Portsmouth - Gunwharf
Slight variation to departure times (to aid interworking with revised 3), but continues to run every 10 minutes in each direction.
Service 2 Gunwharf - City Centre - Albert Road - Eastney - Copnor - Cosham - QA Hospital - Paulsgrove
Service continues to operate every ten minutes, but additional time allocated to improve punctuality.
Service does not now interwork with the 1.
Evenings services run Gunwharf to Paulsgrove throughout.
Service 2C Cosham-Paulsgrove (evenings only)
Service re-numbered as 22 (in line with daytime service).
Continues to interwork with 12 to and from Highbury.
Service 3/3A Gunwharf - City Centre - Cosham - QA Hospital - Paulsgrove - Portchester - Fareham
Service continues to operate every ten minutes, consisting of every twenty minutes to and from Fareham and every twenty minutes to and from Portsdown Inn.
All journeys now re-numbered to be 3 (no 3A).
Additional time (about five minutes) added each way to improve punctuality.
Hourly route via Dore Avenue North Portchester taken out of this timetable, but operated instead by service 22.
Evening services run from Fareham or Paulsgrove to Gunwharf throughout.
Service 7 Wecock Farm - Waterlooville - Crookhorn - Cosham - City Centre - Southsea
Evening services run from Wecock to Southsea throughout.
Service 7C Portsmouth - Cosham - South Downs College
Two additional journeys introduced at 08:20 and 08:25 from the City Centre to South Downs College.
Service 8/X8 Clanfield - Cowplain - Waterlooville - Cosham - City Centre - The Hard
One morning trip terminates at City Centre (instead of The Hard) to provide additional service to South Downs College.
Evening service runs between Clanfield and The Hard throughout.
Service 9/9A West End - Fareham - Bridgemary - Rowner - Elson/Alverstoke - Gosport
The 07:41 southbound departure from Fareham is diverted to serve Bay House School.
Service 10 Gosport - Brockhurst - Bridgemary - BRT - Fareham
Minor tweaks by up to five minutes at peak times to accommodate changes on the interworking service 11.
Service 11 Gosport - Royal Clarence Yard - Brockhurst - Fleetlands - Hoeford - Fareham
Service diverted via Elson (operating via The Crossways, San Diego Road, Avery Lane, Vale Road, Palmyra Road, Rydal Road and Eastbourne Avenue). Consequent additional running time of up to three minutes.
Service 22 Farlington - Drayton - Cosham - QA Hospital - Lower Farlington/Paulsgrove
Service extended to serve Dore Avenue and Fareham every hour.
Service E2 Fareham - BRT - Brockhurst - Anns Hill - Gosport
Service diverted to serve Forest Way to avoid traffic delays on the main Fareham Road.
Service X40 Catherington - Wecock Farm - Waterlooville - A3(M) - Portsmouth
The 07:35 from Catherington to Southsea terminates at Portsmouth City Centre (to provide additional service from Portsmouth to South Downs College).
