The Big Lottery Fund
The Big Lottery Fund delivers a wide range of programmes of different sizes and different aims. They are an ideal starting point for voluntary and community organisations seeking grants to support their activities or help them deliver new projects.
The fund will give out more than £2.3 billion between 2006 and 2009. New programmes are introduced over time aimed at tackling a range of issues.
Information and application forms can be found at their website www.biglotteryfund.org.uk along with case studies and advice on putting application together.
The big lottery fund was launched in 2004 to replace the Community Fund and the New Opportunities Fund.
