Below are examples of projects that are currently available as part of work experience within Hampshire County Council within Customer Relations

  • Investigate the different communications methods used by the Council and its staff and the factors influencing the use of these.

  • Investigate the different ways that County Council staff access ICT.

  • Investigate how the department you are working in uses ICT.

  • Investigate how the use of ICT has affected the work of staff and the communication in the department you are undertaking your placement in.

  • Select two ICT applications used by staff and explain how these assist staff perform their role and provide services to their customers.

  • Taking the department you are undertaking your placement in, identify the components used in different ICT systems and describe how they contribute to the overall purpose of the department.

  • Investigate the ICT support provided to users of the Council’s ICT.

  • Investigate the measures in place to ensure that staff use ICT safely and securely.
