2007 English Index of Multiple Deprivation (Hampshire Analysis)
The Index of Multiple Deprivation 2007 (IMD 2007) published in December 2007 by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) measures multiple deprivation at the small area level. The IMD is made up of seven domain indices, each defined by a series of indicators. Three of the seven domains have further sets of sub-domains, and in addition to the Income domain, there are two supplementary indices (Income Deprivation Affecting Children and Income Deprivation Affecting Older People). The supplementary indices are separate from the IMD.
