Hampshire Population Statistics

The Demography Team within Spatial Strategy and Research publish a wide range of demographic data including information on past, current and future forecasted populations, for different local geographic areas.

Hampshire County Council produce two sets of local population statistics:

Small Area Population Forecasts (SAPF)

Long Term Population Projections

Hampshire County Council also:

• Publish Mid-Year Population Estimates produced by the Office for National Statistics.

• Provide Census Information for Hampshire County and the Unitary Authorities of Portsmouth and Southampton.

• Present Demographic Factsheets for Hampshire's Districts and Unitary Authorities

• Produce Publications and Reports on various demographic topics.
