County Planning
The section manages the County Council’s own developments (including schools and libraries) as well as the planning and monitoring of mineral and waste sites and infrastructure across Hampshire.
We don’t deal with planning and development for housing and business, this is covered by the district councils (we have developed this table to assist further) should you require more information please contact your relevant district to find out more
Draft Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan published
The draft Plan has now been published by the partner authorities for a six week period for representations on its 'soundness'. Following this period the draft Plan will be submitted to the Secretary of State alongside the representations. An independent Planning Inspector will then consider the draft Plan at Public Examination on its 'soundness'.
The period for making representations runs from 7 November 2011 to 19 December 2011, after which representations will not be accepted.
The draft Plan, its supporting evidence, and representations forms will be available online, at the partner authority offices, and at local libraries from 7 November 2011.
