Planning and Development
Hampshire County Council provides the following planning services:
Produces minerals and waste planning policy with Portsmouth and Southampton City Councils and the New Forest National Park Authority.
Determines planning applications for mineral and waste management developments and County Council proposals such as schools etc.
Monitoring and enforcement of mineral and waste management sites to ensure compliance with approved plans and to control unauthorised developments.
General planning service enquiries, including those about householder planning applications and queries concerning neighbourhood developments should be addressed to the local District or City Council office.
