Planning is a technical process and as such planning documentation has to use a lot of technical language. If you come across a word or phrase you are unfamiliar with then try looking it up in the glossary.

Finally, if you are using one of our online services (commenting on an application, filling in an application form and certificates or making a complaint) then please refer to the appropriate guidance notes - by following this guidance we will be able to deal with your submission as quickly as possible.
