Planning Policy
Hampshire County Council is a Minerals and Waste Planning Authority and is responsible for preparing ‘Plans’ for the development of mineral and waste management infrastructure in Hampshire. These plans (created with our partners) contain policies that guide Member decision on planning applications for any mineral or waste infrastructure.
The 'Hampshire Minerals and Waste Development Framework' includes a number of Development Plan Documents (DPDs) that contain policies and proposals for mineral extraction or processing and waste management up to the year 2020.
