Previous Mineral Plan Work

Previous work undertaken in the production of the Hampshire Minerals Plan can be viewed below:

  • Cabinet and Council Decisions
    For decisions made at Cabinet (23 June 2008) and Council (10 July 2008) on the Hampshire Minerals Plan.

  • Proposed Areas (old Regulation 26 Consultation)
    This was the first formal public consultation on the site allocation process to meet the requirements laid out in the Core Strategy and a chance for everyone to comment upon those sites put forward for a particular mineral activity. It was advertised in the local press and subject to neighbour notification with the documentation available in council offices, information centres, libraries and housing offices. The consultation was carried out between 31 October and 12 December 2007.The Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2004 detail the requirements of Regulation 26.

  • Potential Locations - Issues and Options (old Regulation 25 stage)
    The Issues and Options stage (Regulation 25 under the The Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2004) was the initial stage in the site allocation process on the options for 'new' sites to go in the Hampshire Minerals Plan and the Hampshire Waste Plan. This work covered the period between September 2006 and June 2007.

  • Draft Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA)
    The draft Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA) was completed in April 2007 by Halcrow Ltd. This report provides an overview of the methodology, assumptions, uncertainties, tasks undertaken and the links to the wider Integrated Sustainability Appraisal.

  • Scoping Reports for the Integrated Sustainability Appraisal (ISA)
    The Scoping Reports for the Integrated Sustainability Appraisal (ISA) - a legal requirement of the plan-making process - of the Hampshire Minerals and Waste Management Plans were produced in May 2006 and a five week consultation was undertaken and completed in June 2006.

Please note: The Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2004 were the regulations in place when this work was undertaken. In June 2008, the amended regulations came into force. The Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2004 will now apply to all future work on the Hampshire Minerals Plan.
