Hampshire Statement of Community Involvement - Adoption Statement
In accordance with Regulation 36 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2004, notice is hereby given that Hampshire County Council adopted the Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) of the Hampshire Minerals and Waste Development Framework on 28 September 2006.
The Statement of Community Involvement is a formal statement of Hampshire County Council’s policy for involving the community in the preparation of planning policy documents to be included in the Hampshire Minerals and Waste Development Framework, for consulting on planning applications for minerals and waste and for the County Council’s own developments in pursuit of its statutory and other functions within its administrative area.
Any person aggrieved by the Statement of Community Involvement may make an application to the High Court under Section 113 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 on the grounds that (a) the document is not within the appropriate power; (b) a procedural requirement has not been complied with. Applications must be made within six weeks from 28 September 2006.
Any person aggrieved by the Statement of Community Involvement may apply to the High Court for permission to apply for judicial review of the decision to adopt the Statement of Community Involvement. Any such application must be made promptly and in any event not later than three months from 28 September 2006.
The Statement of Community Involvement is available for inspection from the 16 October 2006 at Hampshire County Council's Environment Department offices at The Castle, Winchester during normal office hours Monday – Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Copies have also been placed at Hampshire County Council Information Centres and Customer Access Points, public libraries throughout the County, and at Hampshire District Council offices.
