Stow Crescent, Fareham - Traffic Regulation Order

Highways – Permanent Traffic Order Notices from Fareham Borough Council in Fareham area.

BOROUGH OF FAREHAM (STOW CRESCENT) (ON STREET PARKING AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.1) ORDER 2013

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Fareham Borough Council propose to make the above named Order pursuant to arrangements made under Section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 with Hampshire County Council, in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 84, 85 and 87 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

1 The effects of the Order will be to amend the Borough of Fareham (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2007 by introducing waiting restrictions as follows:-

(a) To introduce "No Waiting and No Loading Mon-Sat 8am-7pm" on the following lengths of roads: Highlands Road - southeast side, from its junction with Stow Crescent, south-westwards for a distance of approximately 70m; Stow Crescent - southwest side, from its junction with Highlands Road, south-eastwards for a distance of approximately 20m.

(b) To introduce "No Waiting and No Loading At Any Time" in Stow Crescent - northeast side, from a point approximately 22m southeast of its junction with Highlands Road, south-eastwards for a distance of approximately 84m; Glenesha Gardens - northwest side, from its junction with Stow Crescent, north-eastwards for a distance of approximately 10m.

(c) To introduce "Loading for Goods Vehicles Only" in Stow Crescent - southwest side, from a point approximately 20m southeast of its junction with Highlands Road, south-eastwards for a distance of approximately 12m.

2 A copy of the proposed Order and Maps showing the lengths of roads concerned together with a statement of reasons for proposing to make the order may be inspected at the office of the Head of Community Safety and Enforcement at the Civic Offices, Civic Way, Fareham, during usual office hours.
