Highways - Other Temporary Traffic Restrictions from Hampshire County Council in Eastleigh, Fareham, Gosport areas.

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PROHIBITION OF ENTRY (EXCEPT BUSES), YEW TREE DRIVE, WHITELEY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, to expedite movement of traffic during the M27 motorway works in the vicinity of junction 9, considers that the suspension to the order affecting the road as specified below should come into force without delay:

EFFECT OF NOTICE AND ORDER: To temporarily suspend the provisions of The Borough of Fareham (Yew Tree Drive, Whiteley) (Prohibition of Entry (Except Buses)) (No.1) Order 2007, which prohibits all vehicles except buses and pedal cycles from entering that part of Yew Tree Drive between its junction with A3051 Botley Road and its junction with Clydesdale Road.

PERIOD OF SUSPENSION: From 13 March 2013 for a period of five days. An order will be made to enable this closure to stay in force for approximately 9 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (*Notwithstanding the above, it is expected that the suspension will be required for no longer than 6 months).
