NO RIGHT TURN AND LEFT TURN ONLY AT THE JUNCTION OF PASSFIELD AVENUE AND TINNING WAY

Highways – Permanent Traffic Order Notices from Eastleigh Borough Council in Eastleigh area.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Eastleigh Borough Council pursuant to arrangements under Section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 with Hampshire County Council proposes to make the Order below in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act").

In the interests of safety, and to facilitate the passage of traffic along the road, it is proposed that:

No right turn shall be allowed by traffic on Passfield Avenue into Tinning Way.All traffic entering Passfield Avenue from Tinning Way shall be required to turn left into the southbound lane of Passfield Avenue.

A copy of the Order, a plan and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected at my office at the Civic Offices, Leigh Road, Eastleigh during normal office hours or on the Council's website: www.eastleigh.gov.uk/TRO

Objections to these proposals together with the grounds on which they are made must be sent in writing or via the form on the Council's website to the undersigned by 12 April 2013. Letters of support for these proposals will also be received during this period.

The Order, if made, will be known as "The Borough of Eastleigh (Passfield Avenue and Tinning Way, Eastleigh) (Prohibition of Right Turn and Prescribed Route) Order 201X"
