THE HAMPSHIRE (A272 AND A32, WEST MEON) (50 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2013
On 12 March 2013 Hampshire County Council made a traffic order as follows:
EFFECT OF ORDER: To impose a 50mph speed limit (currently de-restricted) on the following lengths of road at West Meon.
(i) A272 between a point 100 metres west of its junction with A32 at Meon Hut and a point 70 metres east of that junction, an approximate distance of 170 metres.
(ii) A32 between a point 310 metres north of its junction with C28 High Street at West Meon and a point 50 metres north of its junction with A272 at Meon Hut, an approximate distance of 2012 metres.
DATE OF OPERATION: The order will come into operation on 25 March 2013.
FURTHER DETAILS: A copy of this notice and the order as made, together with a map showing the location and effect of the order and a statement of reasons may be inspected during normal opening hours at the following places:
(i) Petersfield Library, 27 The Square, Petersfield (Opening hours: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 9 – 5; Wednesdays and Fridays 9.30 – 7; Saturdays 9 – 1)
