BOROUGH OF FAREHAM (LONGMYND DRIVE) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT No. 19) ORDER 2013

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Fareham Borough Council propose to make the above named Order pursuant to arrangements made under Section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 with Hampshire County Council, in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Section 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3) and 4(2), and part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

1 The effect of the Order will be to amend the Borough of Fareham (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2007 by introducing waiting restrictions as follows:-

"No Waiting At Any Time" in Longmynd Drive - southwest side, from its junction with Bishopsfield Road, north-westwards for a distance of approximately 17m and from a point approximately 52m northwest of its junction with Bishopsfield Road for a distance of approximately 47m in a westerly direction; northeast side, from its junction with Bishopsfield Road, north-westwards for a distance of approximately 49m.

2 A copy of the proposed Order and Maps showing the lengths of roads concerned together with a statement of reasons for proposing to make the order may be inspected at the office of the Head of Community Safety and Enforcement at the Civic Offices, Civic Way, Fareham, during usual office hours.

3 If you wish to make an objection to this order, you may do so by email to chris.thornton@southampton.gov.uk or by post to Legal, HR and Democratic Services, Southampton City Council, Civic Centre, Southampton, SO14 7LY. Alternatively, you may write to the Traffic and Design Manager at Civic Offices, Civic Way, Fareham PO16 7PU. All correspondence should be received within 21 days of the date of this notice (i.e. by 25th May 2013).
