TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS – 30 AND 40MPH SPEED LIMITS AT BRAMLEY AND SILCHESTER

Highways – Permanent Traffic Order Notices from Hampshire County Council in Basingstoke and Deane area.

30mph

(i) U252 Ash Lane, between a point 193 metres north of its junction with C32 Silchester Road at Bramley Corner and its junction with U251 Bramley Road, an approximate distance of 1874 metres.

(ii) U251 Bramley Road between its junction with U252 Ash Lane and a point 1022 metres east then south-east thereof.

(iii) U252 Church Lane, between its junction with U251 Bramley Road and a point 90 metres north of its junction with U251 Pound Road, an approximate distance of 214 metres.

(iv) U251 Pound Road, between its junction with U251 Bramley Road and its junction with U252 Church Lane, an approximate distance of 158 metres.

40mph

U255 Bramley Road, between a point 240 metres south-east of its junction with Holly Lane at Silchester and its junction with U252 Ash Lane, an approximate distance of 1012 metres.

(i) Tadley Library, Mulfords Hill, Tadley (Opening hours : Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays 9.30 – 5; Tuesdays 9.30 – 1; Wednesdays 9.30 – 7; Saturdays 9.30 – 4)

(ii) Civic Offices, London Road, Basingstoke (Opening hour s: Mondays to Thursdays 8.30 – 5; Fridays 8.30 – 4.30)

(iii) Hampshire County Council Headquarters, The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UJ (Opening hours : Mondays to Thursdays 8.30 – 5.15; Fridays 8.30 – 4.45)

OBJECTIONS: All objections and other representations in respect of this proposal must be sent in writing to the undersigned quoting reference:- C676/MB by 02 August 2013. All objections must state the grounds on which they are made. Persons wishing to make objections or other representations are advised that in the order-making process, objections or other representations may become publicly available and therefore the names and addresses of those persons making objections or other representations may also be made publicly available.

TITLE: The order, if made, will be known as “The Hampshire (Various Roads, Bramley and Silchester) (30 and 40 Miles per Hour Speed Limit) Order 2013.”
