Highways – Permanent Traffic Order Notices from Fareham Borough Council in Fareham area.

BOROUGH OF FAREHAM (ARUNDEL DRIVE)(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES)(AMENDMENT No.23) ORDER 2013

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Fareham Borough Council propose to make the above named Order pursuant to arrangements made under Section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 with Hampshire County Council, in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Section 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3) and 4(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

1 The effect of the Order will be to amend the Borough of Fareham (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2007 by introducing waiting restrictions as follows:-

"No Waiting At Any Time" in Arundel Drive - both sides, from a point approximately 20 metres north of its junction with Leigh Road, in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 45 metres; Leigh Road - both sides, from its junction with Arundel Drive, in a easterly direction for a distance of approximately 15 metres; Denbigh Drive - both sides, from its junction with Arundel Drive, in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 20 metres.

"No Loading and No Waiting at Any Time" in Arundel Drive - east side, from its junction with Miller Drive, in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 10 metres, and from a point approximately 12 metres north of its junction with Bryon Close, in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 30 metres; Byron Close - both sides, from its junction with Arundel Drive, in a easterly direction for a distance of approximately 12 metres.

"No Loading and No Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm" in Arundel Drive - east side, from a point approximately 10 metres south of its junction with Miller Drive, in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 52 metres, from a point approximately 117 metres south of its junction with Miller Drive, in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 25 metres, and from a point approximately 12 metres south of its junction with Byron Close, in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 25 metres.

"No Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-7pm" in Oxford Close - both sides, from a point approximately 7 metres west of its junction with Arundel Drive, in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 12 metres.

"Limited Waiting 2 Hours No Return 3 Hours Mon-Sat 8am-6pm" in Arundel Drive - east side, from a point approximately 80 metres south of its junction with Miller Drive, in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 37 metres.

2 A copy of the proposed Order and Maps showing the lengths of roads concerned together with a statement of reasons for proposing to make the order may be inspected at the office of the Head of Community Safety and Enforcement at the Civic Offices, Civic Way, Fareham, during usual office hours.
