TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS - 20MPH SPEED LIMIT IN YEW TREE DRIVE, WHITELEY

Highways – Permanent Traffic Order Notices from Hampshire County Council in Fareham area.

EFFECT OF ORDER: To impose a 20mph speed limit (currently 30mph in force by virtue of a prescribed system of street lighting) on that length of Yew Tree Drive between a point 151 metres south-east of its south-eastern junction with Gull Coppice and a point 371 metres north-west of that point.

FURTHER DETAILS: A copy of this notice, the proposed order, a map showing the location and effect of the proposal, a statement of reasons and the order to be revoked may be viewed at http://www3.hants.gov.uk/publicnotices or inspected during the usual office hours at the following places:

(i) Lockswood Community Centre and Library, Centre Way, Locks Heath (Opening hours : Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9.30 – 5; Thursdays 9.30 – 7; Saturdays 9.30 – 1)

(ii) Borough Council Offices, Civic Centre Way, Fareham (Opening hours : Mondays to Thursdays 8.45 – 5.15; Fridays 8.30 – 4.45)

(iii) City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester (Opening hours : Mondays to Thursdays 8.30 – 5; Fridays 8.30 – 4.30)

(iv) Hampshire County Council Headquarters, The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UJ (Opening hours : Mondays to Thursdays 8.30 – 5.15; Fridays 8.30 – 4.45)

OBJECTIONS: All objections and other representations in respect of this proposal must be sent in writing to the undersigned quoting reference:- C683/MB by 8 November 2013. All objections must state the grounds on which they are made. Persons wishing to make objections or other representations are advised that in the order-making process, objections or other representations may become publicly available and therefore the names and addresses of those persons making objections or other representations may also be made publicly available.

TITLE: The order, if made, will be known as “The Hampshire (Various Roads, Whiteley and Segensworth Area) (Restricted Road, 20, 40 and 50 Miles Per Hour Speed Limit) (No. 2) Order 2013.”
