Various Roads in East Hampshire No.3

Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in East Hampshire area.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES –  VARIOUS ROADS IN EAST HAMPSHIRE NO. 3 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order to allow for Operation Resilience works on the highway to be undertaken as follows: 

ROADS TO BE CLOSED:  those parts of the following roads –  

  1. Church Lane, Empshott between its junction with Selborne Road and its junction with Empshott Road.
  2. Brick Kiln Lane, West Tisted between its junction with A32 Fareham Road and its junction with Brewers Lane.
  3. High Street (Service Road), Alton between its junction with High Street and its termination at end of the road.
  4. Crowley Drive, Alton between its junction with Ashdell Road and its junction with Windmill Hill.
  5. B3002 Headley Road, Grayshott between its junction with Boundary Road and its junction with School Road.
  6. Petersfield Road, Bordon between its junction with Blackmoor Road and its junction with Princes Close.
  7. London Road, Liphook between its roundabout junction with Portsmouth Road / Longmoor Road / Headley Road and its junctions with London Road and Childerstone Close.
  8. Haslemere Road, Liphook between its roundabout junction with Portsmouth Road and a point 50 metres east of Chiltlee Manor Estate.
  9. Midhurst Road, Liphook between its roundabout junction with Haslemere Road and its junctions with Court Close.
  10. Portsmouth Road, Liphook between its roundabout junction with Longmoor Road / Headley Road / London Road and its junction Larch Close.
  11. Headley Road, Liphook between its roundabout junction with Portsmouth Road / Longmoor Road / London Road and its junction with The Grove.
  12. Longmoor Road, Liphook between its roundabout junction with Headley Road / London Road / Portsmouth Road and its junction with Victoria Way.
  13. Northfield Lane, Chawton between its roundabout junction with Alton By-Pass and its junction with Chawton Park Lane.
  14. Winchester Road, Chawton between its roundabout  junction with Alton By-Pass and its junction with A32 Gosport Road.
  15. Boyneswood Road, Medstead between its junction with Red Hill and its junction with A31 Winchester Road.

  Drainage Schemes

  1. A31 Winchester Road, Ropley between its junction with Winchester Road and its junction with Berry Hill Road.
  2. Tunbridge Lane / Church Lane  /Rectory Lane West, Bramshott between its junction with Rectory Lane West and its junction with Burgh Hill Road.
  3. Smithy Lane, Headley between its junction with Frensham Lane and a point 20 metres west of its junction with Heath Hill .
  4. A32 Gosport Road / Fareham Road, West Meon between its junction with A272 at West Meon Hut and its roundabout junction with A31 at Chawton. 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: will be signed via the following roads –  

  1. Stairs Hill, Emshott Road.
  2. Brewers Lane, Cannon Dell Lane, A32 Fareham Road.
  3. None possible.
  4. Ashdell Road, Lower Turk Street, Turk Street, Windmill Hill.
  5. B3002 Headley Road, A3 Portsmouth Road, A3, B3231 London Road, B3004 Headley Road / Hill House Hill / Standford Lane / Liphook Road, Headley Road, Mill Lane, B3002 Mill Lane / Crabtree Lane, Liphook Road, B3002 Fullers Vale / Beech Hill / Greyshott Road / Headley Road.
  6. A325 High Street / Camp Road, B3002 Lindford Road, B3004 Liphook Road / Standford Lane / Hill House Hill / Headley Road, B2131 London Road, A3, A325 Woolmer Road / Petersfield Road.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 7 th May 2012 for a period of 12 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the closures will be required for 1-3 days each for resurfacing works and between 3 - 6 weeks each for drainage works ).  

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
