West Meon Road, East Meon

Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in East Hampshire area.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – WEST MEON ROAD, EAST MEON

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council has made an order to allow for works on the highway to be undertaken as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: That part of West Meon Road between its junction with Workhouse Lane and its junction with Drayton Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: via C28 West Meon Road / East End / High Street, A32 Alton Road, A272 Winchester Road, C28 East Meon Road.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 28th May 2012 for a period of 12 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 5 days.)

Diversion routes will be signed at the time of closure. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
