Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Eastleigh Borough Council in Eastleigh area.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS IN THE BOROUGH OF EASTLEIGH

By arrangements made under section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 with Hampshire County Council, notice is hereby given that Eastleigh Borough Council proposes to make a temporary order pursuant to the legislation above as the Council is satisfied that traffic (and/or pedestrians) on the road(s) below should be restricted because works are proposed to be executed on or near the road, the effect of which is detailed below. 

Reason for Closure:   To enable Hampshire County Council to carry out carriageway and/or drainage repairs

Period of Closure : From 10th October 2016 for a period of 18 months: notwithstanding it is expected that the closures will only be in place for a period of 2 to 5 days each.

Stoke Park Road, Sedgewick Road, Underwood Road

Brook lane, Botley  - 50m NW from Junction with Manor Farm – Drainage Works, Brook Lane and Church Lane to be closed together.

High Street, Church Lane and reverse.

Church Lane, Botley – 100m East from Junction with Manor Farm – Drainage Works

High Street, Brook Lane and reverse.

Moorhill Road service road which is opposite Cheriton Avenue

No Diversion Possible

Ruskin Road, Eastleigh for 50m from the junction with Twyford Road

St Catherines Road, Twyford Road

O’Connell Road, Eastleigh, entire length

Passfield Avenue, Derby Road, Scott Road

Chadwick Road, Eastleigh, entire length

Passfield Avenue, Derby Road, Tennyson Road, Coniston Road
