TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Test Valley Borough Council in Test Valley area.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) has made an Order to allow for resurfacing drainage and footway works to take place in the carriageway, as follows:-

ROADS TO BE CLOSED

Henley Lane, Vernham Dean from Bowers Lane to Hampshire County Boundary

Bowers Lane, Vernham Dean from Henley Lane to Vernham Street

Quarley Village Road, Quarley from Skew Road to South of Bridge Cottage

Grateley Drove, Grateley from B3084 Cholderton Road to 200m west of Oakleigh Farm

Charlton Rd / Marlborough St, Andover from Folly Roundabout to Chantry Street

Union Street, Andover from High Street to Eastern Avenue

Millway Road, Andover from B3402 Weyhill Road to Salisbury Road

Roman Road, Broughton from Yew Tree Lane to Lockerley Road

Marsh Court Lane, Kings Somborne from A3057 Romsey Road to Cow Drove Hill

Winchester Rd, Kings Somborne from Church Road to Riverside Green

The Meads, Romsey from Market Square to Rivermead Close

Knightwood Road, Valley Park from Flexford Road to Shannon Way

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: As signed on site

PERIOD OF ORDER : From Monday 22nd October 2012 for a period of 12 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner

DURATION OF WORKS: Notwithstanding the period of the Order it is anticipated that the closure will be required for periods to be signed in advance on site

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out
