BIFOHH Traffic Order Amendment 2017

Highways – Permanent Traffic Order Notices from Eastleigh Borough Council in Eastleigh area.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Eastleigh Borough Council pursuant to arrangements with Hampshire County Council has made the above mentioned Traffic Regulation Orders in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Sections 1, 2, 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.

The general effect of the Order will be to:

Make The Borough of Eastleigh (Bishopstoke, Fair Oak and Horton Heath) (Amendment No 1) Order 2017. The general effect of this Order is to insert into The Borough of Eastleigh (Bishopstoke, Fair Oak and Horton Heath) Consolidation Order 2017 new waiting restrictions, and amend some existing restrictions as detailed below:

a) 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions in the following roads:

Cotton Close

Fair Oak Road

Latham Road

Meadowsweet Way

Oakbank Road

Whalesmead Road

Pilchards Avenue

Sandy Lane

Scotter Road

Scotter Square

Witt Road

The Order will come into operation on 2nd October 2017. A copy of the Order may be inspected at my office at Eastleigh House, Upper Market Street, Eastleigh during normal office hours or the Council's website: www.eastleigh.gov.uk/TRO

Any persons wishing to question the validity of this Order or any provisions contained in it on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from 26th September 2017 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
