AMENDMENT TO HEAVY COMMERCIAL VEHICLE RESTRICTION IN WHITEHILL AND BORDON

Highways – Permanent Traffic Order Notices from Hampshire County Council in East Hampshire area.

TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS – AMENDMENT TO HEAVY COMMERCIAL VEHICLE RESTRICTION IN WHITEHILL AND BORDON

Hampshire County Council proposes making a traffic order as follows:

EFFECT OF ORDER: will be to vary Article 2 of The Hampshire (Various Roads, Selborne) (Prohibition of Heavy Commercial Vehicles) Order 1997 as follows:

(i) item (b) is replaced with "A325 between its junction with the B3004 and its roundabout junction with Louisberg Avenue / Templars Way (Whitehill and Bordon relief road);

(ii) items (c) and (d) are replaced with "Louisburg Avenue / Templars Way (Whitehill and Bordon relief road) between its roundabout junction at its northern end with the A325 and its roundabout junction at its southern end with C114 Firgrove Road / A325 Petersfield Road"; and

(iii) item (e) be replaced with "A325 between its roundabout junction with Louisburg Avenue / Templars Way (Whitehill and Bordon relief road) / C114 Firgrove Road and its junction with the A3 Trunk Road.

FURTHER DETAILS : A copy of this notice, the proposed order, a map showing the location and effect of the proposal, a statement of reasons and the order to be varied may be viewed at http://www3.hants.gov.uk/publicnotices or inspected during the usual office hours at the following places:

(i) Bordon Library, Forest Centre, Pinehill Road, Bordon (Opening hours: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 9.30 – 5; Saturdays 9 – 1)

(ii) Council Offices, Penns Place, Petersfield (Opening hours: Mondays to Friday 9 – 5)

(iii) Hampshire County Council Headquarters, The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UJ (Opening hours : Mondays to Thursdays 8.30 – 5.15; Fridays 8.30 – 4.45)

OBJECTIONS: All objections and other representations in respect of this proposal must be sent in writing to the undersigned quoting reference:- A1000/MB by 15 December 2017 . All objections must state the grounds on which they are made. Persons wishing to make objections or other representations are advised that in the order-making process, objections or other representations may become publicly available and therefore the names and addresses of those persons making objections or other representations may also be made publicly available.

TITLE: The order, if made, will be known as "The Hampshire (Various Roads, Selborne Area) (Prohibition of Heavy Commercial Vehicles) Order 1997 (Variation) Order 2018."
