A327 MINLEY ROAD, BLACKWATER

Highways – Temporary Speed Restrictions from Hart District Council in Hart area.

Notice is hereby given that Hart District Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Sections 14(1), (2) and (3) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Regulation 3 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992, and of all other enabling powers, proposes to make the following Order as the Council are satisfied that traffic (and/or pedestrians) on the road should be restricted because these works are proposed to be executed on or near the road:

EFFECT OF NOTICE

To impose a 30mph speed restriction on that length of the A327 Minley Road, Blackwater from a point outside the properties known as Lower Minley Cottages for approximately 300m in each direction.

PERIOD OF RESTRICTION

From 7th January 2013 for a period of 12 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the restriction will be required for no longer than 1 day). The restriction will be continuously enforced during the period specified.

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
