Proposed development

at: The Westgate School and Rotherly House, Cheriton Road, Winchester, Hampshire SO22 5AZ

by: Hampshire County Council

for: It is proposed to expand the existing secondary school with a 420 place two form entry Primary school, making an 'All Through' education provision. The proposals include the reprovision of a 55 place nursery unit which is to be retained on site. Additional car parking and landscaping are also included within the proposals. Part demolition of an existing boarding house and annexed nursery unit is required to facilitate the proposal.

Members of the public may inspect copies of the application, the plans and other documents submitted with the application at Winchester City Council, City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester, SO23 9LJ during office hours until 21 January 2013, or on the County Planning website at http://www.hants.gov.uk/planning-development
