TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS – AMENDMENT TO WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN LINKS LANE AT ROWLANDS CASTLE
Historically, vehicles have parked immediately in front of the Parish Hall in Links Lane, Rowlands Castle to attend events at this venue. More recently, it has emerged that the area immediately in front of the hall is public highway and is therefore controlled by the existing no waiting at any time (double yellow lining) on the south side of Links Lane in the vicinity of the hall. The proposed exemption to the existing no waiting would still prohibit vehicles from waiting on the road at the kerbside and on the footway, but would allow vehicles to continue to park within the existing marked bays immediately in front of the hall.
TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSAL – A32 GOSPORT ROAD, FAREHAM
EFFECT OF ORDER: to reduce the existing 40 mph to 30 mph (Restricted Road status) on A32 Gosport Road between its junction with Salterns Lane and the boundary between the Borough of Fareham and the Borough of Gosport.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE EXTENSION - BASINGSTOKE FOOTPATH 30
Hampshire County Council, having made an Order under Section 14(1)a of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to allow for works in connection with the demolition of existing buildings and construction of a new store, has been directed by the Secretary of State for Transport that the order shall continue in force.
What are public notices?
Public notices are pieces of Local Government information that we traditionally placed as adverts within local papers. Now, we offer these same adverts online and in a free printed publication called the Hampshire Independent.
