Hampshire County Council is seeking to establish a countywide Directory for Alternative Provision and Emotional Health and Wellbeing Services to support and enhance mainstream education to children and young people across Hampshire.
TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSAL – SANDY LANE, ROMSEY 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT
EFFECT OF ORDER: will be to impose a 30 mph speed limit on that section of Sandy Lane currently 40 mph between the two existing 30 mph sections as follows: Sandy Lane between a point 103 metres west of the C91 Braishfield Road roundabout junction and a point 114 metres east of the new junction with Cupernham Lane, an approximate distance of 815 metres.

TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS – AMENDMENTS TO SPEED LIMITS IN THE QUEENS ROUNDABOUT AREA AT FARNBOROUGH
EFFECT OF ORDER: Will be to impose 30 and 50mph speed limits in the Queens Roundabout area at Farnborough as follows: 30mph – by virtue of a prescribed system of street lighting (i) Government House Road (existing 40mph) – between its junction with Queens Roundabout and a point 140 metres west thereof. (ii) A325 Farnborough Road (existing 40mph) – between a point 75 metres north of its junction with Queens Roundabout and a point 550 metres south of that point (including the circulatory carriageway of the roundabout). 50mph – existing de-restricted (70mph) A325 Farnborough Road between a point 180 metres south of its junction with Queens Roundabout and a point 300 metres south of that point.
Traffic Calming Proposals - Road Hump in Taverner Close, Basingtoke
As part of the recent residential development in Taverner Close and Westray Close in the Basingstoke area, it is proposed to introduce speed tables in the above roads in order to reduce vehicle speeds. The proposed road humps (raised tables) will also help to improve overall road safety in the local area.
