A temporary closure of Greenway Lane to allow for carriageway maintenance works, including re-setting of granite setts. To permit fresh mortar to cure before being driven on, the closure, which should not exceed 3 days, will include intervening nights. Hampshire County Council, having made an Order under Section 14(1)a of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public or serious damage to the road, has been directed by the Secretary of State for Transport that the order shall continue in force.
