    The above named Order made on 3 May 2017, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by recording public restricted byway rights and public footpath rights over land at Dean Hill, in the parish of East Dean as follows: A restricted byway commencing at a junction with the road C59 (East Dean Road), opposite Manor Farm, proceeding in a southerly then easterly direction, to a point north of the former chalk pit at GR SU 2722 2649. A total length of 318 metres. A footpath commencing at a junction with the road C59 (East Dean Road), west of its junction with the road U90 (Frenchmoor Lane), then proceeding in a southerly direction to a junction with East Dean Footpath 12. A total length of 818 metres. A footpath commencing at a junction with East Dean Restricted Byway 501, then proceeding in a south-easterly direction to a junction with East Dean Footpath 505. A total length of 194 metres. A footpath commencing at a junction with the road C59 (East Dean Road) opposite East Dean Manor, then proceeding in a southerly direction, to a junction with East Dean Footpath 505. A total length of 157 metres. A footpath commencing at a junction with the road C59 (East Dean Road) at St. Winfrid’s Church, then proceeding in a southerly and then south-easterly direction to a junction with East Dean Footpath 9 and East Dean Footpath 10. A total length of 903 metres. A footpath commencing at a junction with East Dean Footpath 502, then proceeding in an easterly and then north-easterly direction to a junction with East Dean Footpath 505. A total length of 641 metres. A footpath commencing at a junction with the road C59 (East Dean Road) at Swiss Cottage, then proceeding in a southerly and then south-westerly direction, crossing East Dean Footpath 9 at Dean Hill Barn Farm, to a second junction with East Dean Footpath 9. A total length of 972 metres. A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the offices of Hampshire County Council, The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UJ and at the offices of Test Valley Borough Council, Beech Hurst, Weyhill Road, Andover, SP10 3AJ, or online at http://www.hants.gov.uk/publicnotices. Copies of the Order and the map may be bought from me at a price of £4.40. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Head of Countryside Access, Hampshire County Council, Castle Avenue, Winchester, SO23 8UL, or via the internet to row.notices@hants.gov.uk quoting reference:- DMMO 884 no later than 16 June 2017. Please state the grounds on which they are made. Any representations or objections made regarding the similar Order made in August 2016 have been kept on file and will be taken into consideration by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. If no such representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or any part of it, or if any so made are withdrawn, Hampshire County Council may, instead of submitting the Order or part of it to the Secretary of State, if the authority has by Notice to the Secretary of State so elected under paragraph 5 of Schedule 15 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, itself confirm the Order or part of the Order.     Rights of Way – Legal Order from Hampshire County Council in Test Valley area.

    The above named Order, made on 21 April 2017 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the public footpath running from SU 2989 2890 in a generally northerly direction to SU 2999 2943, to a line running from SU 2989 2890 north westwards, then north eastwards to SU 2996 2944, as shown on the Order map.
