Regional Programme Management
Building projects can be costly – but our collaborative procurement and delivery arrangements will help release cashable savings.
In today’s unprecedented times it is vital that client organisations work together utilising scarce resources to procure and deliver projects and programmes of work to achieve economies of scale and efficiency savings. Our nationally recognised Regional Programme Management Team has been working on the efficiency agenda since 2006, through ground breaking collaborative construction frameworks, and innovative joint programme management with other authorities to deliver multi million pound education programmes.
Leading edge construction solutions
Our team of construction professionals manages all aspects of building projects from inception to operation through nationally recognised procurement, programme management and supplier relationship management:
a regional construction framework, available across the South of England, which turns over £500m of work each year
more localised frameworks to cater for small to medium size projects, such as minor refurbishments
Strategic Partnerships with Aecom for cost and project management, and Mace for design services
specialist works frameworks for specific services such as temporary buildings, and landscaping
a range of project, programme and resource management from advice on what might be needed to a full programme / project management service, tailored to individual needs
innovative shared services arrangements designed to enable joint working with other public authorities
rigorous performance management to demonstrate the benefits of the working arrangements and to ensure our suppliers remain healthily competetive.
Trust and peace of mind
All arrangements are subject to rigorous quality control throughout the procurement process and during the time when services are provided. Proactive management is an essential ingredient of the suite of arrangements on offer. The Regional Programme Management Team supports clients no matter whether it is just to access the framework arrangements, or if they require more help with any aspect of the delivery of their programmes of work.
All our arrangements are subject to a rigorous performance management regime. Data is captured across a range of key performance indicators which is used to drive a continuous improvement process. This ensures that the services provided are of the highest quality, and that learning is captured to constantly develop the arrangements. This has key advantages:
far greater predictably
opportunities to counter potential risks and threats
setting stretching targets and delivering efficiencies.
We constantly strive to improve the range of services on offer and are always developing new leading edge products and best practice services. We work closely with colleagues from around the country sharing best practice development for procurement and supply chain management with other councils. We are harnessing learning from colleagues in every region and are using this to develop the next generation procurement arrangements.
We are also working with colleagues in central government to drive forward the contribution of local government to the national efficiency agenda.
Regional Programmes Manager
We have a golden opportunity to use the power of councils by acting together to both further improve and spread best practice and thereby raise the performance bar and critically, to become a stronger voice with central government and the private sector.
