Extension to B3385 Broom Way and Cherque Way Order

Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in Gosport, East Hampshire areas.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE EXTENSION No. 2 – B3385 BROOM WAY AND CHERQUE WAY, LEE-ON-THE-SOLENT  

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council having made an order in connection with works on the highway has extended that order as described below:

 

 

ROADS TO BE CLOSED:

 

1.  Broom Way – Northbound Lane to be closed .                                                  

Traffic diverted to use southbound lane and southbound traffic to follow diversion route via Cherque Way, Fitzroy Drive, Langdon Drive and Fell Drive.

2.  Broom Way – Southbound Slip entering Cherque Way to be closed.      

Traffic to follow diversion route via Fell Drive, Langdon Drive and Fitzroy Drive.

3.  Broom Way – Southbound Lane to be closed.                                                   

Traffic to follow diversion route via Cherque Way, Fitzroy Drive, Langdon Drive and Fell Drive.

4.  Cherque Way – entering Broom Way to be closed.                                    

Traffic to follow diversion route via Fitzroy Drive, Langdon Drive and Fell Drive.

 

PERIOD OF CLOSURE:  From 30 th December 2011 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding the above, it is expected that the works will take no longer than 10-15 days, depending on the weather).

 

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises whilst work is being carried out.
