Collections of waste and recycling in Hampshire
Recycling and rubbish collections are carried out by your local district, borough or city council. All councils in Hampshire collect the same items in their recycling bins, bags or boxes - please see the table below for more detail. All recyclable material collected is taken to a Materials Recovery Facility or MRF to be sorted, and it is important that householders recycle the right things to aid the sorting process.
