    Display of dress charts the remarkable innovation and change in fashion from 1903 to 1939 - from the extravagance of Edwardian fashions and the restraint of the First World War, to stunning 1920s beaded “flapper” dresses and Art Deco inspired fabrics of the 1930s.

    Step into a bygone age and experience the charm and harsh reality of life in the workhouse when children worked from dawn to dusk making watch parts.
