What is the Nationality Checking Service?
The Nationality Checking Service is a partnership between the Home Office Nationality Group and Hampshire County Council.
It enables people applying for British Citizenship to make their applications in person at selected local Registration Offices.
How does the Nationality Checking Service Work?
For a set fee, a trained registered advisor will check that you have completed your application form correctly and will photocopy all necessary supporting documents.
Your application form, together with certified copies of documents is sent by registered post to the Home Office for you.
Why use the Nationality Checking Service?
You are able to keep your passport and other important documents.
Applications arrive at the Home Office containing all necessary details thus avoiding unnecessary delays.
